Welcome to my first post. This will be a new venture for me and I am looking forward to the challenge. My name is Dwayne Buchanan, I am a middle school science teacher in Central Florida. My posts will be sharing the journey of professional development at my school and the blessings and the misgivings of the staff. One of the reasons I chose professional development is because I feel I am an exception to the rule. I love professional development because I love to learn new things and put them to good use. I believe that learning should be a life long commitment, especially for educators. The more we learn, the more we can share. I hope you enjoy the journey that we will be taking.
